As a PhD-student in the Nano-Lipo group, my interest is focused on liposomes as oral drug delivery systems. The objective of my work is the development of thiomer coated liposomes to enhance the permeation of encapsulated drugs. The newly generated particles are characterized concerning their size distribution, zeta potential, stability, mucoadhesion, drug release properties and cytotoxicity.
